Corporate Tax Manager

The Corporate Tax Manager is responsible for preparing and reviewing income tax returns, tax research, and preparing federal and state tax returns for pass-through entities (S corporation, Partnerships, LLCs).

• Ensure accurate and timely compliance with federal, state and local income/franchise tax laws and regulations
• Manage and coordinate the federal, state and local income tax compliance process for tax returns, estimates, extensions, etc. Responsibilities will include both preparation and review of returns
• Prepare and support both quarterly and year-end provision process
• Responsible for sales and use tax, property tax and other taxes as needed
• Conduct tax research, draw conclusions and prepare technical memorandums to support tax positions. • Monitor legislation and judicial proceedings for relevant tax law changes
• Assist with tax audits and tax agency inquiries
• Assist with transfer pricing study and calculations
• Assist with domestic and international tax planning strategies
• Other projects within the tax department as needed

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA required (Masters in Taxation a plus)
• 10+ years of relevant tax experience, either within a corporate tax department or at a CPA firm (Big 4 experience a plus)
• Working knowledge of US GAAP and Tax Code, strong experience with ASC 740

• Strong research and problem solving skills
• Initiative and ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently
• Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
• Must be detail oriented with advanced organizational and analytical skills
• Ability to work well with others including upper management and outside tax professionals in fast paced, dynamic environment
• Excellent work ethics by taking ownership and being highly accountable.
