The Controller is responsible for overseeing all aspects of General Accounting and Financial Reporting functions including GL, Payroll, A/R and A/P. Ensuring all financial reporting is prepared in compliance with financial policies and requirements. The Controller will also create and implement policies and procedures to identify, resolve and document accounting issues in addition to creating procedures to make the close and reporting processes more efficient and accurate.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
• Coordinate the preparation of annual tax returns and annual financial statement audits
• Prepare and analyze budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections
• Prepare and analyze financial statement including balance sheet and profile/loss statement
• Manage bank reporting, including day to day management of cash accounts
• Perform monthly/yearly closing procedures, including appropriate asset and accrual journal entries and account reconciliations
• Oversee full cycle Accounts Payable and full cycle Accounts Receivable functions
• Perform bank and cash reconciliations

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s Degree, with concentration in Accounting
• 10+ years accounting experience
• 5 years in Manufacturing or Construction industry preferred

• Strong interpersonal, supervisory and customer service skills required
• Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines required
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
