The Leave Administrator is responsible for handling the LOA requests and associated tasks. As the point of contact for LOA request, must have excellent customer service skills and professional demeanor.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
• Oversee the handling of LOA requests assuring proper documentation is submitted
• Prepare appropriate response letters to employees within the specified time period
• Properly track Certified Mail/Return Receipt confirmations for all correspondences
• Maintain accurate records in Kronos reflecting LOA history
• Proper tracking of confidential LOA documents
• Track the LOA hours used during the applicable period
• Track the checks received for employees on LOA related to missed deductions
• Manage the list of employees who have no hours but are showing as Active (potential LOA candidates)
• Properly communicate with employees in their processing of LOA requests
• Review LOA approvals are in accordance with established policies and procedures
• Provide professional oversight and assistance to Client Facilities handling of LOA requests

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• 3+ year related experience in Benefit Administration with LOA training
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus
